Our client, are a world leader in business-to-business markets, and offers professional display and visualization solutions. Based upon in-depth market knowledge and leading-edge technology, these solutions help customers improve productivity and effectiveness. Due to growth we are searching for a customer service engineer*events engineer based from Reading, Berkshire.
This exciting customer service engineer involves providing technical support via telephone, email and visits, to support the events customer base with display and visualisation solutions. Key responsibilities will involve the installation, commissioning and testing of products for the customer base. To liaise with the events customers with respect to implementation of product modifications and to provide solutions to on and off site problems. Other duties will involve liaising with the customer service department and engineers on any technical issues and providing training on the company products to the events customer base. Candidates must be able to prepare and complete all documentation*reports.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth product knowledge of projection technology*electronic image projection, knowledge of AV systems and understanding of signal sources used in the events industry. Candidates will ideally have 2 years+ experience in a customer facing field support role working with events *rental staging companies. A strong technical background with a C&G*ONC in electronics would be ideal. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a customer facing role are essential. A clean driving license is required and the availability to travel across the Uk*abroad to visit customers.
